EB-1A Extraordinary Ability (Green Card)

EB-1A is the first-preference employment-based green card for individuals with extraordinary ability in sciences, arts, education, business or athletics. Self-petition permitted; no PERM labor certification. Evidence: major internationally recognized award (Nobel, Pulitzer, Olympic medal) OR ≥ 3 of 10 regulatory criteria (8 CFR 204.5(h)(3)).
