Global Talent

The Global Talent visa is for recognised or emerging global leaders in academia/research, arts and culture, or digital technology. There is no employer sponsorship and no salary threshold. Applicants either win an eligible prestigious prize listed in the Immigration Rules (direct route) or obtain endorsement from one of six designated bodies: Royal Society (sciences), Royal Academy of Engineering, British Academy (humanities/social sciences), UKRI (research), Tech Nation (digital tech), Arts Council England (arts and culture). Initial leave 1–5 years (applicant's choice). ILR after 3 years (exceptional talent / leader) or 5 years (exceptional promise).
